Reception of certificates of training courses for lawyers on “ Legal Profession & Human Rights convened by ACIJLP (2000 – 2002)

ACIJLP Honors Leading Jurists in Egypt

The Arab Center for the Independence of Judiciary and Legal Profession (ACIJLP) convened closing reception for the twice-training terms for Egyptian lawyers on May 29^th, 2003, at Journalist Association. Certificates of participation were distributed to five hundreds lawyers (trainees) who trained on legal profession and human rights during training sessions held by the ACIJLP. The reception will be started with remarks of H.E ambassador of Royal Denmark Mr. Christian Oldenburg (donation body), Human Rights officer, European Union, Mr. Souqet Arnod (donation body), president of Egyptian Bar Mr. Sameh Ashour, secretary general of Ara Organizaton for Human Rights Mr. Mohamed Fayek and director general of the Arab Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession ACIJLP Mr. Nasser Amin.

The center honored also trainers either law professors or other professors; prominent judges and lawyers who had a vital role on promoting and defending human rights, fundamental freedoms and justice.
