The ACIJLP’s campaign: “ enabling woman from assuming judicial positions

The second qualifying training course

“developing the needed skills for working in judiciary”

Within the frame work of the Arab Center for the Independence of Judiciary and Legal Profession’s  campaign for enabling Egyptian women to hold judicial posts in Egypt, and proceeding to the special training course : “developing needed skills for working in judiciary”- which will qualify them to apply for assuming judicial positions-.many law professors, human rights activists and psychology and sociology professors continue their theoretical and  practical lectures in this program. 

The training course will start on May, 20th , 2006, and will last to May, 25th , 2006. 25 female lawyers from Cairo and Marsa Matrouh governorates on the differences of their registration levels at Egyptian Bar Association.

The training course includes a lot of relevant theoretical and practical themes such as studying the Egyptian Judicial System, and ordinary & administrative judiciary and their authorities. In addition to studying the system of public prosecution and it’s authority, and the methods of moving criminal action. Moreover, the training course includes important issues related to successful interviews skills, and communication and persuading skills.   

The training course for qualifying female lawyers will proceed till the end of year 2006, by a fund from the Delegation of European Commission in Egypt.
